About me

I am a graduate of Round Rock High School and the University of Texas at Austin. I have a Bachelor of Journalism degree and have wanted to teach journalism since parabolas and I decided we didn't like each other in tenth grade. 

I have been advising yearbooks and newspaper for 29 years. Round Rock High school publications have earned a CSPA gold crown, NSPA Pacemaker and ILPC Star awards. 

In my spare time, I love to travel. Those destinations almost always involve an animal adventure like this one with an owl in Edinburgh, Scotland.

I hope to retire (eventually) to Washington State or just travel around the world.
