Snap and Read Extension
For those who like to have items read to them you can download a free app from the Google Webstore called Snap and Read. This will appear as an extension next to the address bar. Students can download this on their personal Google accounts as well as their school Google accounts. It will appear as a speaker and the student highlights what they want read to them and then they click the speaker icon extension and it will read it to them. Once it is downloaded it will appear every time they log on to the account they added it to (make sure to add to Home Google account and school Google account).

All the captured text is placed in the top text-area within the UI. In order to copy the text, use (Ctrl + C) keyboard combination. This add-on has no background activities when it is closed. Moreover, it does not need an internet connection for operation.
