About the Teacher

Hello! My name is Nicole White. I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Degree in Marketing. I worked in the business and sales world for a little while before deciding that I needed to get into teaching. This is my fifth year as part of the Round Rock Family. I love helping students learn new things and realize that they can accomplish goals that they did not think possible. I received a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership in May of 2021 and plan to use that to move into leadership positions in the future.

Background on me:

I grew up in the Dallas area. Growing up, I played soccer and danced. In high school I was active in Theater and Journalism. In college, I participated in my sorority (Tri-Delta), inter-mural sports (where I sprained my ankle), and several professional organizations. I met my husband my senior year and we were married in April of 2013. We immediately moved away from our beloved Texas to Virginia. After that we were sent to Illinois and this Texas girl got her first taste of snow. I didn't like it much! I moved back home to pursue teaching, while my husband finished out his last year of active duty. We currently have no children, but 4 pets corn snake (Stewart), a cat (Nidalee) and two dogs (Odin and Zeus). I enjoy cooking, crafting, camping, kayaking, knitting and playing games. I LOVE the color pink, everything that can be pink will be. I may also have an obsession with Flamingos, they are pink and fun!

This year I will be teaching Advanced/TAG Algebra II and Math Models.

I enjoy working with the parents of my students.
