This course is open only to RRHS athletes that seek to deepen the physical understanding of their body and enhance their basic movement skills through dance. Athletes will experience various dance genres such as hip hop, jazz, ballet, and modern. Yoga and Pilates will be incorporated into class daily. Participants will increase their flexibility, coordination, balance, and agility. The focus of this class is to foster and grow basic movement skills which will aid athletes of any sport.

Foam Roller Fridays- whole class period dedicated to rolling out, stretching whatever is particularly sore, and performing guided relaxation
Strengthening ankles and stabilizer muscles every class
Form - focus on executing movements with correct form to help you play longer and prevent injury
Communication with your coaches/trainers to identify specific areas each individual needs to improve on
Consistent feedback from teacher to help you find growth and success in your sport
