Classroom Management Plan

  1. Be in Class on time. 3 tardies=(1 unexcused absent.)

  2. When you enter the classroom be ready for class. Be ready to go after attendance is taken.

  3. Each Student is responsible for having necessary materials.(pen, pencil, paper,notebook)

  4. Students must Adhere to the school dress code.

  5. You will be required to respect others at all times.

  6. You will be required to enter the classroom in an orderly fashion.

7.Class will be dismiss when Mr. Gonzalez has cleared all daily closing requirements.

8.Students will be Courteous and refrain from loud and disruptive behavior.

9.VULGARITY,PROFANITY,AND QUESTIONABLE LANGUAGE WILL NOT BE USED IN THE CLASSROOM.

10.NO FOOD IN THE CLASSROOM OR LAB(SHOP)

11.NO PHONES IN THE CLASSROOM OR LAB(SHOP)

12. Water in a clear container.

AUTO SHOP SAFETY RULES

  1. Approved EYE PROTECTION Must be Worn While Activities Are in Progress.

  2. SANDALS And OPEN Toes Shoes Do NOT Comply with LAB Safety Rules.

  3. NO RUNNING And NO HORSEPLAY.

  4. VULGARITY,PROFANITY,And QUESTIONABLE LANGUAGE WILL NOT BE USED IN THE LAB.

  5. DO NOT Throw Things at each other.

  6. Drive cars In and Out of the Shop SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY. Have a Spotter help you.

Failure to follow Class or Lab Rules can result in one or more of the following Consequences:

  1. Verbal warning: Shop Privileges will be taken away.

  2. Conference with Teacher

  3. Parent Contact

  4. Detention(Saturday)

  5. Disciplinary referral

  6. Possession of Prohibited Items:

Students shall not possess or use:

● Fireworks of any kind, smoke or stink bombs, or any other pyrotechnic device;

● A razor, box cutter, chain, or any other object used in a way that threatens or inflicts bodily injury to another person;

● A “look-alike” weapon that is intended to be used as a weapon or could reasonably be perceived as a weapon;

● An air gun or BB gun;

● Ammunition;

● *A location-restricted knife;

● A hand instrument designed to cut or stab another by being thrown;

● *A firearm;

● A stun gun;

● A pocketknife or any other small knife;

● Mace or pepper spray;

● Pornographic material;

● Tobacco products; cigarettes; e-cigarettes; and any component, part, or accessory for an e-cigarette device;

● Matches or a lighter;

● A laser pointer for other than an approved use; or

● Any articles not generally considered to be weapons, including school supplies, when the principal or designee determines that a danger exists.

Possession of Telecommunications or Other Electronic Devices:

Students shall not:

● Use a telecommunications device, including a cellular telephone, or other electronic device in violation of district and campus rules.
