Curriculum

RRHS offers five computer science courses. (See below!)

Our introductory courses are AP Computer Science Principles, Computer Science 1, and Advanced Computer Science 1.

• If a student has completed Algebra 1 and is interested in the Computer Science Academy, we recommend the student starts with Computer Science 1 or Advanced Computer Science 1.

• If a student has not completed Algebra 1 or they want to take things a little slower, they should start in AP Computer Science Principles.

• After AP Computer Science Principles, it is highly recommended they enroll in Computer Science 1 or Advanced Computer Science 1.
  Yes, a student can enroll in AP Computer Science A, but it is highly recommended to complete Computer Science 1 or Advanced Computer Science 1 first.
