About the Teacher

Hi there!

My name is Rob Walters. I've been with Round Rock ISD in Special Education since 2011. Before that, I had a career with the National Park Service as a firefighter and an emergency medical technician.

I graduated from the College of Southern Nevada with an A.A.S. in Fire Science and from Western Governors University with my Bachelor of Arts in Special Education.

I'm originally from New Orleans, but went to high school and college in Las Vegas. I've been in the Austin area since 2010.

I am super excited to begin my second year as part of the Cedar Valley family! Service in Special Education is my passion and my FLC team and I are ready to help our students thrive!
