Hi! My name is Dominique Reat and I am your child’s third grade teacher. This year will be my 27th year teaching third grade at Great Oaks (since the start of Great Oaks!). My teaching philosophy is that high expectations result in high achievement, and that learning should be relevant. I try to maintain this ideal in all of our activities and try to keep your child on his or her “mental tiptoes”. I love teaching, and I want your child to love learning.

Something else you should know about me is that I am a nature lover. I am never happier than when I am experiencing the natural world in all its splendor. I try to incorporate this feeling into my classroom.
