About me- 

Hello! My name is Helena Porter. I was born and raised in central Illinois, but began my teaching career in San Antonio in 2021 after graduating from Illinois State with my Bachelors in Elementary Education. I love paddle boarding, mountain biking, yoga, and reading mystery thrillers.

Teaching Philosophy- As a passionate and dedicated elementary educator, my ultimate goal is to create a positive and impactful learning environment where all students can thrive. With a focus on building strong relationships and nurturing a love for learning, I aim to inspire growth and help students reach their full potential. At Purple Sage we make meaningful differences in the lives of students, while continuing to develop our own teaching skills and knowledge.
