Enrich your summer with ART!
Are you looking for some activities for your kid this summer? Either a camp or something to do at home? Here is a random list of different things you can look into!

-Visit the public library and check out some art books or drawing books.
-After your child reads a book at home, have them draw a picture of something from the story.
-Draw items that are around in your home. Have your child try to draw a different toy each day.

Video that shows how to draw something with each letter of the Alphabet! This is a great drawing challenge. You could do a few letters each day and stretch it out. Art for kids Hub is my favorite channel and I trust they have family friendly content.

Recreate a famous piece of art at home
Visit an art museum! The Blanton in Austin: adults $15 kids $8 (FREE ADMISSION ON TUESDAYS) There are also great museums in other cities. If you are visiting Dallas or Houston be sure to check them out. It’s a great activity to get out of the summer heat.
