Hello Parents,

My name is Zehra Moosa and I am so excited to get the opportunity to spend this year with your child. Pre-K is a year filled with lots of learning, discovery, and tons of excitement! I am looking forward to partnering with you in making your child's education outstanding this year.

I was raised in Canada and moved to Austin 15 years ago. I went to Texas State University (Eat 'em Up Cats!) where I received my bachelor in Elementary Education. I completed my student teaching at Teravista Elementary, and feel blessed to have taught kindergarten and first grade as a long term sub in several wonderful schools in Round Rock. I hold every student I’ve taught so very close to my heart. I love getting to watch my students grow and blossom through the year. I love watching their personalities develop and getting to know each one of my kids for exactly who they are. Being a teacher is such a blessing!

I am married to a wonderful man, Khaleel who works in Information Technology(IT). We have two precious boys; Faizaan is ten and Iliyan is seven. Our little adopted baby Coco is a mini Aussie Shepherd and will be 2 in February. Being a parent has been such an amazing and wonderful journey. We are so thankful! When I am not at school I enjoy reading, hiking, shopping and traveling.
