Principles of Business, Marketing and Finance

Students will have the opportunity to develop entry-level skills that involve business methods necessary for a business to compete in a global environment. Students will learn and implement best practices in business areas such as management, marketing, and finance. Students will demonstrate critical-thinking skills using decision-making models, case studies, various technologies, and business scenarios.

GRADING POLICY

60% Major Work - (Projects/Presentations/Tests/Quizzes)

40% Minor Work (Daily Assessments)- Participation/Daily Work/Guided Work/Research


LATE WORK POLICY

Daily work is due the same day; late work (the next class day) will receive a maximum of 70%. No work will be accepted after the second class day.


Major work will be considered late if not turned in on the schedule due date. Late work will receive a maximum of 90% (when submitted the next class day) or a maximum of 70% (when submitted 2 class days late).


REDO/RETAKE POLICY

Retests must be completed no later than 1 week after the missed test/assignment.
