Welcome Dragons! This is my 5th year teaching at Round Rock High School after working in law enforcement, investigations, and community supervision for over 15 years.
Prior to joining Dragon Nation I was employed as a Civil Rights Investigator for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) for over three years. During this time I investigated complaints of discrimination based on race, sexual orientation, age, sex and disability within HHSC.
Previously, I was employed for 12 years as a U.S. Probation Officer where I supervised offenders convicted of federal offenses including, but not limited to: large scale drug trafficking, federal firearms violations, sex crimes, manufacturing and distributing child pornography, international kidnapping, financial offenses, and homicide. Furthermore, I have extensive experience in defensive tactics, search and seizure procedures, GPS monitoring, and have completed advanced firearm training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC).
Personally; I am the proud mother of one daughter, Alexandra, who is an attorney in NYC. I also have a rescue dog, Maya, whom I adore. During my free time I love to spend time with my family, explore the Texas Hill Country, travel extensively, host dinner parties, and foster through Austin Pets Alive.
