50% - Assessments
50% - Daily Work
Missing grades will be put in HAC as an 'M' and will calculate as a zero
Zeros are not used unless that is the true earned grade
A minimum of 12 grades will be taken every 9 weeks; not to exceed a total of 13.
Assessments can be redone up to a 70 if the grade earned is a 69 or below. (A minimum of 2 assessments will be given each grading period.)
Redo's for failing grades require attendance to a reteach tutorial session and an additional retake/retest tutorial session.
If you turn in an assignment after the due date/time you will receive a lunch detention. Grading for late assignments: Up to a 90 will be given for the assignment. If you receive a lunch detention, you are to get your lunch first and then report to the assigned location written on your yellow lunch detention form that will be given to you in advisory or on the pass given to you by your teacher. NO late work will be taken after the 8th week of each 9 weeks grading period.
