Welcome to 3rd Grade! My name is Ms. Garcia and I am so excited to be here!

I was born and raised in Houston, TX. I love rooting for Houston sports teams and going back to my favorite restaurants. I went to Texas A&M University where I received my Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies and my certification. I then taught in Fort Bend ISD, just outside of Houston, for 3 years before relocating to Austin. This past school year, I taught in Austin ISD. I am so happy to be joining Laurel Mountain!

When I am not at school, I am spending time with my fiance and our dog, Moose. We are enjoying our time exploring everything that Austin has to offer. I also like to cook, bake and read.
