My name is Julie Evans and I grew up locally in Pflugerville, Texas. I graduated from Texas State University in December 2017 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Go Bobcats! After graduating, I spent some time as a long term substitute at Cactus Ranch Elementary in Round Rock. While I was there I spent my time in a 3rd and 5th grade class. Last year was my first year teaching 2nd grade at Spicewood Elementary, and I am excited to be returning for my second year!
In my free time I love to read books, visit coffee shops, travel and enjoy the outdoors with friends and family. This past summer I was able to travel to Ruidoso, NM and New York, NY! I loved both cities and can't wait to go back! I also became an Aunt this summer to the most beautiful baby girl named Ariya. I am completely obsessed with her, and loving auntie life! If anyone knows anything about me, I also love animals! I have 3 dogs at home that bring so much joy to my life.
Second grade is such a great year and I am completely committed to your child’s education. I will be doing my best to create a learning environment that is fun, engaging, and safe for their young minds to grow and flourish!
