Hello! I cannot wait to begin this school year with you and your Fourth Grader!
I am originally from Iowa and attended Iowa State University (Roll Clones) with a major in Elementary Education with a specialty in Reading and Mathematics! My parents are still living in Iowa with their two crazy dogs while my brother and his fiancé just moved to Wisconsin to become Chiropractors. When I graduated from college, I moved to Houston, to be a fourth grade teacher then moved to Austin in July of 2022. I am so excited to be back in fourth grade at Herrington for a third year!
This summer I was able to go back home to Iowa to spend some time with family. I also did a lot of traveling! I went to Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky, Hot Springs and Little Rock in Arkansas, and Galveston Island, Texas.
I am so happy that I got to do so much and see so many people that I care about over the break!
