Welcome to First Grade
Hi, my name is Kem Platte and this is my 13th year as a teacher at Blackland Prairie. I have two daughters, one is a senior at Texas Tech University and the other is a graphic designer and lives in Brooklyn, NY. (both attended Blackland Prairie) I am really looking forward to working with your children and I think we have an exciting year ahead of us. Communication has always been important to me both as a parent and as an educator so I would like to encourage you to contact me with any questions, concerns, comments and even celebrations that may occur for your family. We are going to have a fantastic year and I can't wait to get to know all of you.
