Reminders:
Students need to bring daily:
Backpack, labeled with name
Full change of clothes (shirt, pants/shorts, underwear, socks), labeled with name
Snack in containers or packaging that student is capable of opening independently, labeled with name and labeled as snack (students often confuse snack and lunch containers)
Water bottle, labeled with name
We spend a lot of time outdoors at LME! Please send your child to school with sneakers or tennis shoes and in clothing that is appropriate for the day's weather.

This week we begin our unit On the Move. In science we'll be learning about ways people, objects and animals move, and continuing to get familiar with chromebooks in preparation for kindergarten.
In math we're demonstrating multiple ways to show a number and decomposing numbers within 10.
In literacy we're continuing to strengthen letter name/sound knowledge and learning about word families (-et, -en, -eg, -ed, etc).
For Social Emotional Learning, we will continue to build knowledge about pro social behaviors, and practice collaborating with peers.
