Did someone say travel!??? I love to! My dad was in the Army and so we traveled a lot and it is still something I enjoy. Traveling to all 50 states is on my bucket list. So far, I’ve been to many, including New York, California, Maryland, Washington, Washington, D.C., New Mexico, Louisiana, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and of course, Texas. This summer I was able to add Philadelphia and Connecticut to the list. The picture at the top of this page was taken at White Sands National Monument in New Mexico.

Before I began teaching, I worked with computers as a Systems Analyst. My job was to provide reports and information stored in the computer to help other people make business decisions. I graduated from Eastwood High School in El Paso and went on to earn my bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Houston and a master's degree in Business from Texas State University.

My RRISD roots are strong. All three of my children attended and graduated from Round Rock schools.

I believe every child is a winner and I love working with them to help achieve their victories. I look forward to working with each student and their support system to achieve the best results possible. Together, we have no choice but to win!

When I'm away from the classroom I enjoy photography, cooking and music. Learning doesn't stop in the classroom, so please let me know when your student participates in any extracurricular performances. I would love to come and cheer them on! I will also encourage them to participate in school sponsored after school programs.
