Meet the Teacher

Welcome to Kindergarten!  

I am excited to be your child's teacher this year!  I will strive to provide a warm, inclusive and engaging environment for your child to learn and thrive in Kindergarten.  

This is my fourth year teaching Kindergarten at LME. I graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelors Degree in Government and a minor in Spanish (I studied abroad in Venezuela for a semester). I had a previous career with the US Government in Contract Management and met my husband overseas. We have been married for 20 years and have 4 wonderful children, Kyra (18), Owen (16), Kyleigh (12), and Aiden (10). 

I love to travel and have lived internationally and in various locations in the USA over the past 20 years. I have traveled to more than 22 countries and can't wait to share my experiences with my students!

My hobbies are running, hiking and watching my children play soccer.  We also have a dog named Charlie who is a chocolate lab and named after the "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" book.    We love Roald Dahl Books!
