About Mrs. Timourian

This is my 13th year teaching in the district. I started my teaching career at Cedar Valley in 1998 teaching Algebra in the 8th grade. Since then, I have worked at Southwestern University and McNeil High School. I am very pleased to be back where I started teaching. This year I will be teaching on level math, accelerated math and Algebra I to 7th graders.

I have a bachelor degree in Math/Education from University of Virginia and a Master's degree from University of Maryland in Sports Administration. My first 10 years out of college I worked as an Intramural-Recreational Sports Director at Southwestern University.

I am married to Derek Timourian and he is the Associate Dean of Student Life at Southwestern University. We have two children, Marcus 24 and Brianna 22. Marcus graduate with a Master's degree in Accounting at TCU, where he already earned his bachelor in accounting. He is working as a Tax Associate at KPMG in Fort Worth. Brianna is a graduate from Southwestern University, where she majored in kinesiology and minored in art. She also runs cross country for Southwestern and holds the all-time best time for the school. She is currently employed by Challenger School as a Art/PE specialist.

In our spare time we love to follow our favorite sports teams and spend time at the beach. Welcome to my class. I look forward to a productive and fun year!!
