Howdy!

My name is Madison Koenig. I am SO excited to be your 6th grade math teacher this year!

I graduated from Texas A&M University with my Bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on 4-8th grade Math and Science Education in December 2019. Since graduating, I have taught high school math at a residential treatment facility for adolescents receiving neurobehavioral or psychological treatment, and I taught 8th grade math intervention at Hernandez Middle School. I am currently working towards my M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University and will graduate this December of 2020.

I recently got married to my husband, Stephen. I have a beautiful stepdaughter, Lilly, who will be going into the third grade this year. We are also expecting another baby girl this October. Our two fur-children are Odin and Thor, the "Dogs of Thunder." They love to take us on walks.
