Mrs. Kisselburg's Kindergarten Class
Hello and welcome to my Kindergarten class. I am so glad you are here! This is my 10th year teaching Kindergarten at Live Oak; however, my love of teaching began way back in 1999 when I had the opportunity to spend a year teaching English in China. I ended up staying four years! During my time there I taught 3rd, 5th, and 8th grade ESL classes at a boarding school. I also spent a year teaching 1st grade at a Canadian International School in the far north of China. My last year there, I taught a class at Suzhou University that prepared Chinese students to live and study abroad. I feel very fortunate to have found a home at Live Oak! When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my husband and two children, Sierra and Gage. Sierra graduated from Round Rock High School in 2023 and is living her best young adult life in San Marcos, and Gage will be a freshman at McNeil High School! One of my favorite things about teaching is developing relationships with the students and families I work with. I appreciate the individuality of each of "my" kids and work to teach them in the way that best benefits them. My goal is to create a safe and loving environment where every child can be successful!
