Policies & Procedures
Late Work Policy:
Students are expected to turn in homework on time, the day it is due. Turning in homework after it is due is -20 points or -10 points (project) from the grade earned. Once the unit is completed, students will not be able to turn in the assignment for a grade.
Home Access:
Home Access (HAC) is the official gradebook for RRISD. Grades will be posted as soon as I can grade assignments. If the grade is "blank", then I haven't entered a grade yet. If the grade has an "M", then the assignment is missing and I am waiting for the student to complete. Work completed in Schoology will be listed there as well, however anything done on paper, will only be in HAC.
Daily Information:
Some assignments will be placed in Schoology to complete and some assignments will be on paper, which will be handed out in class.
Corrections:
Students will be allowed to make corrections only on Tests and Quizzes, if their grade is below a 70. It will be their responsibility to turn corrections in by the posted deadline.
Cell Phones:
Students will be expected to keep cell phones in backpacks from 8:15 - 3:35. If students are caught on their phone during class time, they will be given a warning for the first time. Subsequent times, the phone will be taken to the JAG Lobby for pickup by a parent.
