Welcome to Kindergarten!

I am so excited to get the opportunity to spend this year with your child. Kindergarten is a year full of lots of learning, discovery, and tons of excitement! I am looking forward to partnering with you in making your child's education outstanding this year.

Although I was not born in Round Rock, I have spent the majority of my life here. After graduating from McNeil High School, I went on to become a bobcat at Texas State University (Eat 'em Up Cats!) where I received my bachelor of science degree in Elementary Education. I completed my student teaching here at Fern Bluff Elementary, and feel blessed to have taught kindergarten for 13 years at this wonderful school. I hold every student I’ve taught so very close to my heart. I love getting to watch my students grow and blossom through the year. I love watching their personalities develop and getting to know each one of my kids for exactly who they are. Being a teacher is such a blessing!

I am married to a wonderful man, Brandon, who is an electrician as well as an audio engineer with Hill Country Bible Church. We have a precious seven year old boy named Gradyn and a three year old little girl named Adalyn. Being a parent has been such an amazing and wonderful journey. We are so thankful! When I am not at school I enjoy walking the trails, playing with my children, and doing anything outdoors. My family, friends, and faith are some of the most important things in my life.
