Hi! My name is Jessica Cheaney. I teach 3rd grade at Teravista Elementary. My husband and I, Chris, have I have a 15 year old son, Luke, who is going into 9th Grade at Stony Point. I have 2 daughters: Maggie is almost 4 years old and Anna is almost 2.

I grew up in Santa Anna, TX, population 1004! I am truly a small town girl. I graduated top of my class as Valedictorian in high school and went on to college in Stephenville, TX. I graduated from Tarleton State University (Go TEXANS!) in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science in Education with ESL. In 2012 I moved to Round Rock and landed my first job teaching 3rd grade at Teravista.

I have a passion for reading and often "get lost" in a book. I love books that are in a series, because I never want them to end! When I'm not reading, I like spending time with my friends and family. I also love shopping and have a slight addiction to Amazon Prime! :o)

I look forward to the school year beginning each year to have a room full of kiddos that I can make an impact on and share my love of reading and learning.
