Attendance

All absences are unexcused until written documentation is received that might change the absence to excused, however, all absences count. Excessive unexcused absences may be reported to the district’s truancy officer. The easiest way to report an absence is online here or go to the front page of our website, scroll down just a bit and click on the purple icon that says Report Today’s Absence.

Please be sure to report the absence each day your child is out. You will still receive a call from the district’s automated system regarding the absence. Consider it your reminder, if you haven’t yet reported it online. The other option is to send a note to the office listing the dates your child was out and why they were absent. You have 48 hours to provide documentation regarding the absence.
