About Me: My name is Katie Benson and this is my 10th year in education and my 2nd year at Cedar Valley Middle School! Most of my career has been spent in middle school and I am very excited to continue my teaching as the team 6-2 inclusion teacher! I have my Bachelor's degree in Science of Education from The University of Cincinnati, where I was born and raised.

My husband and I have been married for almost 4 years. I have a 15 year old step son named Austin and my husband and I welcomed our baby girl, Violet in March. We also have two adorable boxer dogs named Parker and Bodhi. We love to spend time together at the lake, cooking, and watching football on Sundays!

I am so excited to teach at Cedar Valley and to work together with you to help your student have a successful 1st year of middle school!
