Transportation Changes:
We understand that transportation needs change from time to time. We ask that you plese notify the office (512) 704-0700, before 2:00 p.m.if your student will be going home a different way from their normal dismissal.
Attendance:
Attenance is crucial!
A note from doctor or parent is required for an excused absence.
Any work missed while absence will need to be made up.
Grading Policy:
Grades will be determined by daily class work (70%) and assessments (30%).
Student grades can be viewed at home using the school's "Home Access Center."
Students earn a numeric grade on a scale of 0-100.
Redo/Retake on class assignments: Any grade below a 70 is considered failing. A student will have a reasonable and fair opportunity to be re-taught and to redo the assignment to further develop his/her understanding of the concept. They can correct the grade up to a 70.
Homework:
Students should read aloud 20 minutes each night.
Your child will be given plenty of time to finish class assignments. If your child does not finish the class assignment it will be considered homework.
