Teaching is a passion that I had all my life. Getting to know the thought processes of my students to understand them better is my primary motto. I believe knowledge transfer can only take place when both the teacher and the student are bereft of the 'packages' that they might carry at any given moment of the learning time. This creates a positive learning environment in the class and thus inculcates curiosity and willingness to learn Mathematics.

I hold a Masters degree in Computer Sciences from California State University, East Bay and a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University, India.

I started my teaching very early as a small girl gathering young boys and girls from the economically disadvantaged families in our neighborhood. My mother was a math teacher too and she retired as a principal of high school. I practically learnt a lot from her in the way she connected with her students. For me, teaching is an opening door to reach out to students and nurture positive qualities in them. What is better than touching the lives of high school students in this respect!

I taught as an Assistant Professor in an Engineering College KITE in my home country for a while during a year long visit and that was a turning point in my life. I returned and pursued teaching here. Before coming to RRHS, I worked as a high school math teacher in Renaissance Academy, a private school in Wells Branch area. This is my seventh year in The Round Rock High School. I consider this as a great opportunity to reach out to a wider population of students in Round Rock High. Go Round Rock!!

I taught Algebra 2 and Precalculus in the Math Department in the past. Currently I shifted completely to the CTE and teaching AP Computer Science Principles.
