I am so excited to be teaching 7th grade math at Cedar Valley. Our family moved to Texas 15 years ago from Illinois. My husband and I met while we were in college and have 2 wonderful children. Our daughter, Elizabeth, lives in Illinois with her husband Michael and our grandson Emmett. Our son, Alex, lives and works in Austin. I  am a Longhorn fan (Hook'em) and love college football. When not teaching, I enjoy spending time outside walking our dog or running, exploring Austin and spending time with family and friends.

Twizzlers, Sour Patch Kids, Starbursts, Snickers, Reeses, Twix, and Heath bars

Reading Yes, I love to read when I have time

Coffee, but not Starbucks. I know, how could I not like Starbucks. 

I earned my BA and Masters from National Louis University in Evanston, Illinois.
