Welcome my wonderful 6th grade classes,

I am Mrs. Cohn-Johnson but you can call me Mrs. CJ.  I am so excited to take this science journey with you!!  My background is in Biology where I graduated with a MPH from Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.  This is going in to my 5th year at Deerpark but I have over 15 years of teaching experience.

I am originally from Louisiana; yes, bring on Mardi Gras, king cakes and Gumbo!!!  However, I have been living in Texas since 2000.  I have three amazing kiddos.  My oldest, Jasmine is in her Senior year at Glenn high school in Leander.  My second daughter, Jeslyn, is a 5th grader and lastly, my little guy, James,  just entered 2nd grade.

This is going to be an awesome year!!!!
