Hello! My name is Chandra Chaney, and I will be your child’s Kindergarten teacher this year. I grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and spent four years in the United States Navy where I was stationed in both California and Washington State before finally settling down in Texas. I have two wonderful children of my own, both boys, ages  8 and 11. I attended college at the University of Texas at Austin( Hook em), where I obtained my Bachelor of Science  Degree in Applied Learning and Development with a minor in ESL. I have my  Masters in Instructional Leadership From Concordia University. I  also have an associate degree in Social Work.  

During my spare time, I try to do as many outdoor activities with my family as possible.  I also love watching  movies! If there is one thing that I can say with absolute certainty, it is that I absolutely love children. They bring so much joy into the world and I want nothing more than to help guide them into becoming successful, happy and kind individuals as they go through this journey of life. I am grateful to be in a profession that grants me the opportunity to prepare students for citizenship of our world. I wake up each morning with the intention to inspire others and shape young minds. I am so excited to be able to work with your children this year!

Flower: Daisy and Lilly ( I really love all flowers. So pretty:) )
