Welcome to Second Grade!

I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. This will be my 8th year teaching second grade at Caraway. I am married to my wonderful husband, Jonathan, and we have a dog named Schubert. We are also expecting a new family member this February!

I view teaching as a gift and I love getting to come to school every day and learn with your children! You can expect a friendly, caring, exploratory environment where children are learning academic skills as well as social skills. I try to integrate curriculum across the subjects and have a project-based learning approach when possible.

It's a blessing to be able to spend time with your children and I thank you for trusting them with me. I am looking forward to a great school year!
