Dear Families,

Hello! My name is Thomas Kim. I am super excited and honored to be part of the fabulous 4th grade team this year. I am looking forward to going on this new adventure with you all and making wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.

Nothing gives me more pleasure than seeing students discover their talents and passion in life. I live by the motto ‘Carpe Diem’ and I would like to challenge my students to strive and reach for the skies! With perseverance and hard work, I am confident that we can all achieve greatness!

The class theme for this year will be the "Pioneers' and there are several symbolic reasons for it. Just like the Pioneers, who had to muster up the courage to conquer the frontier, I would like to challenge my students to take risks this year and not worry about making mistakes. Instead of focusing on the results, I would like my students to enjoy the process and have a growth mindset. By supporting and growing together, we will come out even stronger and grow exponentially by learning to overcome the challenges ahead.

Again, I am so excited to work with the students and families, and I look forward to making great progress this year! GO PIONEERS!!!
