About ME...

Background Information / Etc.

This is my 9th year as an Educator and proud to be at Noel Grisham Middle School!

I grew up in Lancaster TX and graduated from University of North Texas...Go Mean Green...! After attending college I worked in sales and marketing.  My focus was in the field of Transportation & Logistics accounting.

After 20+years in Business I heard the calling to Education. Being in a family of Educators I completed my transition and began my new career. My first year I worked at Westwood High School as an inclusion teacher in Algebra and Geometry.  With a Coaching opportunity here at Grisham I made the switch to middle school. Being a parent of 2 kids, (Finnian 21-ACC & Earning Cybersecurity Certificate from Rice University and Astoria 16-Junior at

Vista Ridge HS)  I value the importance of education. Challenging and inspiring young minds is important and rewarding. During my free time I enjoy the outdoors, movies, and disc golf!

My priority is to facilitate each students learning experience and place each student in a position to succeed in school and life. I expect each student to work hard at making forward progress. Education is key in developing critical thinking skills, challenge and strengthen minds, and prepare students to compete in our ever evolving global world.

Math is all around us from measurement, budgeting, financial literacy, proportions in cooking, Distance Rate and Time on a trip, sports statistics, architecture and everything in between!

Athletics has always been part of my life. I am very active in Youth League Sports, I served as a baseball umpire for DCUA in the Denton Area for 4 years. In high school I Lettered in Football, Basketball, and Baseball.   I Coach for the Select Magic Basketball program including Head Coach to the  High School Boys and Assistant Coach to Showcase National Girls Varsity Team.

Sports are a healthy positive outlet that allow for mind and body to develop and promote solid positive connections.

I look forward to a great year!
