About Ms. Angelich

Welcome to 3rd Grade! My name is Mary Angelich and I will be your 3rd grade teacher this year in reading and writing. It is going to be an exciting and great year!  

A few things about me. I was born and raised in Austin, Texas where I went to Austin High School. I graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Go Red Raiders! I really enjoyed my time there and try to go back for football games as often as I can. After graduating college, I moved back to the Austin area and have been teaching at RRISD for 10 years. This is my 8th year at Blackland Prairie Elementary!

In my free time, I like to read and am a big movie fan. I love to travel and go to the beach as often as I can. I enjoy concerts and comedy shows. Swimming is one of my favorite activities. I love walking and taking my dogs, Sadie and Ellie, on several walks a day. We love going to the parks or on a long hike. I have a big family and am very close to them. We are huge Green Bay Packer fans and will wear our cheese heads proudly!  I am very excited about this school year and all the fun we are going to have learning!
