Welcome to Kindergarten!

I am so excited you're here! My hope is that we build a class community who will grow and encourage each other to become better versions of ourselves. My personal philosophy is that learning best happens when we feel seen, valued, and cared for. I am THRILLED to be returning to Spicewood and cannot wait to build our learning community! This year we will ask questions, learn from one another, and BLOOM!

About Me

I grew up in East Texas, and am a graduate from Texas A&M University. Whoop! After growing up watching my mother teach, I fell in love with learning. I am extremely passionate about reading, and believe that all children should have access to the tools they need to grow into a successful reader, and should see themselves represented in the books in their classrooms. My hope is for your kiddos to fall in love with reading! I love flowers, animals, and listening to music! In my free time, I enjoy hiking, going to concerts, paddle boarding, and trying new coffee shops!

I also LOVE going to support my students, so please never hesitate to invite me to games, recitals, etc:) I am so excited to cheer your kiddos on!
