About The Teacher

I am a native of Kansas City, Missouri but grew in Yorkville, Illinois. I graduated from Park University in Kansas City, Missouri with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Arts.

I was King of my university Homecoming, served as Editor of the university yearbook, and played two years on the university baseball team. After graduation, I spent 10 years working at a weekly newspaper in Plainfield, Illinois serving as the Managing Editor the last three years.

More recently, I served as President-elect (2010-12), President (2012-2014), and Immediate Past President (2014-2016) of the Park University Alumni Association, and a member of the Park University Board of Trustees from 2014-2016. Currently, I'm a member of the Park University Trustee Society.

This is my ninth year of teaching at Round Rock High School.

My mission is allowing every student to accomplish their personal goals in education as well as outside of the classroom setting.
