My name is Meredith Crump and I am very excited to be given the privilege to work with your child. I taught for six years in the Dallas area, as a reading/dyslexia specialist and several years in the Austin and Houston areas as a special education resource teacher, 3rd-5th, Middle School Read 180 teacher, and dyslexia/intervention. I recently took some time off to be home with my children, but in 2018 I had the honor of joining the Old Town Kindergarten and Pre-K team, but quickly found my way back to dyslexia/intervention.
I graduated from Texas Tech University and, later, got my Master’s degree in educational administration from Lamar University. I am a native Texan that has lived in Houston, Dallas, Lubbock, and Austin. My family mostly recently moved back from a two year adventure in Bratislava, Slovakia.
I am married to my high school sweet heart, Allen. We are the proud parents of two amazing kids and a doodle; Carter (14), Kendall (12), Doodle (9) and Bear (6 Months). I love traveling, taking way too many photos, baking (but not cooking), laughing, my very large family, and hanging out with my friends.
As a dyslexia interventionist, my goal is to help students reach their full potential. I am committed to continually learn and collaboratively problem solve, so that all students can achieve academic and personal success. I am looking forward to a great year and watching your children grow!
