Behavior Expectations

School Wide Expectations

Be Safe

(how you move your body)

Be Respectful

(how you speak)

Be Responsible

(completing work)

Students will be given paws throughout the day for being SAFE, RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE. They will take these paws back to the classroom to hang up on the classroom paw chart. Once we have reached 50 the class will get a small reward. Theses will be referred to as "paw points".

All staff and students will be in one of the four houses. Every other week the houses will meet to celebrate each other while doing some team building activities. There will be students in each house from all the grade levels, but the house meetings will only be with the house members in their grade level. At the end of each 9 weeks we will have an assembly to celebrate one house member from each grade level for being SAFE, RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE and following the student Cougar Commitments.

When the students put their paw point on the chart they will color it their house color. Once we fill up our chart we will calculate how many points each house has earned. This will go into a school wide point system. When our campus reaches a school wide points goal (ex: 10,000 points) the whole school gets a fun reward!
