Emma Schroeder graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2021. There, she studied dance with a focus in education. During her time at UT, Emma danced in Florida, New York, and throughout Austin and surrounding areas. During her studies, she became a proud member of the National Dance Education Organization, studying and teaching with Dance Artists such as Ann Hutchison-Guest and Tina Curran. Emma completed her student teaching at Pearson Ranch MS and McNeil HS in RRISD.

Following graduation, Emma briefly taught at Voigt Elementary School as a Guest Educator in dance. From there, she taught a Middle School in Austin ISD for three years. While in AISD, Emma directed the Jr. Belles Drill Team, served as an Ambassador for Creative Learning Initiative, and Co-Sponsored FCA and Dance Club. In 2021, Emma was nominated as Murchison Middle School's Teacher of Promise. She remains passionate about creating a home for students in dance.

Emma moved to the Austin area from San Antonio, where she was born and raised. She attended East Central High School, and was an Officer on the Honeybee Varsity Dance Team. In addition to dancing competitively, she trained at Ballet San Antonio and DNArts Ballet Studio. Her teaching journey began at Live Loud San Antonio, a performing arts based after-school program.

Outside of school, Emma enjoys slow living with her Husband and their two dogs on Lake Travis. She loves hiking, baking, gardening, live music, antiquing, and coffee!
