Mr. Hartle

I graduated from Texas State University in May of 2016 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, emphasis on 4-8 grade Science Education. This is my eighth year in the classroom and I am very excited to teach at Walsh Middle School this year!

I have been married for 18 years and have two daughters, ages 16 and 14. My wife is the Director of Special Education Behavior Services and the principal of the GOALS campus in RRISD. My daughters have attended RRISD schools since kindergarten. We have been a part of Round Rock ISD family for a long time!

I have always been a true lover of science. I started reading science fiction books as a young child, and these days I love reading books and articles about new scientific discoveries. We are living in a truly remarkable era of discovery and innovation. My hope is to inspire young people to get excited about science, and possibly pursue careers in scientific fields. After all, our children are the future!

When I'm not at school I enjoy going on fossil/mineral hunts with my daughters, reading, playing music, working on watches, and spending time with my family.
