About US
Mrs. Freeman
I am originally from Waco, where I attended Baylor University. After college, I moved to Boston for 2 years and earned my Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Simmons College.
I started my career as a librarian in Richardson ISD in 2006, and I spent 5 years there. I also have 7 years of experience as a librarian right here in Round Rock ISD.
I love reading and I'm passionate about inspiring kids to become lifelong readers and lifelong learners.
My Family
My husband, Stu, and I have 2 children that attend Round Rock Schools. My daughter, Eliza, is a 2nd grader, and my son, Callan, is a kindergartener this year.

Why I work in the library....
I love working in the library and am looking forward to meeting the students and staff at Great Oaks, so please come by to say hello and let me know how I can help you!
About myself...
A native of California, I moved to Texas over 20 years ago and am now happy to call Round Rock my home. I have a Master of Library Science degree, have worked in many interesting libraries over the years and am looking forward to working and sharing my love of reading with all the students and teachers at Great Oaks Elementary School.
My husband, Victor, and I live in Round Rock and have two sons who are both Longhorns, so we wear a lot of burnt orange in our house! I love the outdoors and when I am not working in the library or reading, you can find me hiking on the trails in hill country or paddle boarding on Lady Bird Lake.
