ABOUT ME
My name is Megan McLeland and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year! I grew up in San Antonio, TX and Frisco, TX. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2020. I am certified in General Education, English as a Second Language (ESL), and Gifted and Talented. This will be my 4th year teaching in RRISD and my 1st year at Elsa England! In my free time I love to hike with my dog, draw, dance, watch anime, and spend time with friends and family.
I look forward to getting to know you and your family as the school year begins. My goal is for you and I to work together so your student can recieve the best education possible. If you have any questions or concerns please do not ever hesitate to contact me. I typically communicate through email, but you can find constant updates and other helpful information through the First Grade website. Also please check the Elsa England site for updates, important information, and helpful answers to frequently asked questions!

If your family is experiencing difficulty at home, I would like to provide additional support at school. I understand that details are not always to be shared and that is okay. If your child is coming to school after a difficult night, morning, or weekend please email me "Handle with Care". Nothing else will be said or asked. This will let me know that your child may need extra time, patience, help, and a lot of love during the day.
