About the teacher

     I was born and raised in Brownsville, TX. I studied Biology at the University of Texas at Brownsville (UTB TSC) and graduated in May of 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree. I moved to Round Rock in August 2000. I have been part of Round Rock ISD since 2011. I have worked in Special Education, in both FAC and FCC, since joining RRISD. I have been at Pearson Ranch MS since its opening in 2017.

     I love to read (mystery books are the best), dance, and spend time with my family. I have four cats and two dogs.  My activities include dancing with Round Rock Ballet Folklorico and any volunteer opportunity I can make time for. My son attends the University of Texas at Arlington and is a Jazz major. Go Mavericks!!!
