I'm a third generation educator and excited about entering my 22nd year in education. Teaching kindergarten in my passion!

I've had the privilege of teaching in Round Rock and other surrounding school districts during my career. My teaching experience has been in 1st grade, kindergarten, 2nd grade and Reading Recovery. My goal for each of my students is for them to enjoy school and to love learning.

Upon graduating from Southwest Texas State University (Texas State University), I moved to Austin. I have been married to my native Austinite husband, CA, for 24 years. We have two amazing daughters, Cailey and Camille. Both of my daughters graduated from Round Rock High School. Cailey attends the University of Texas at San Antonio where she earned her undergraduate in sociology. She is currently working on her masters in sociological research and plays soccer for the university. Camille is currently attending ACC and working in retail. She is leaning towards a degree in business/marketing.
