I'm interested in auditioning for Dragon Pride Dance Company. What should I select on my RRHS Scheduling Request form?
Request Dragon Pride Dance Company on your form. After auditions, all students that are selected for the team will be placed in a class together and all others will be put in the appropriate dance class they requested in their audition applications.
Do you recommend that I attend the Dragon Pride Dance Company Audition Preview event?
Yes, it is highly recommended! All attendees learn a mock audition routine on day one and participate in a mock audition on day two in order to gain a better understanding of the actual audition process. Plus, Mrs. Aufiero and the DPDC leaders will be there to answer any questions you have about the team!
How do I get to the 1100 Dance Studio?

I'm interested in Dragon Pride Dance Company and the RRHS Dragonettes. Can I do both?
You cannot participate in Dragonettes and Dragon Pride Dance Company at the same time. If you are interested in auditioning for Dragonettes, it is recommended that you enroll in Drill Prep in order to prepare for the audition. You cannot be enrolled in Drill Prep and Dragon Pride Dance Company at the same time. That said, if you are a member of Dragon Pride, you can still choose to audition for the Dragonette team in the fall. If you are selected for the Dragonette team, you will be removed from the Dragon Pride team and class period in order to be switched into the Dragonette Baby Rookie class period at the start of the spring semester.
How much does it cost to be a member of Dragon Pride Dance Company?
The Dragon Pride Dance Company Team Fee is $75. This will apply to all members and will help pay for things such as choreography, costumes, transportation, and other things necessary for the team to function efficiently. Dragon Pride members will also be asked to purchase clothing and dance wear items as a team. These will not exceed $275.00. These items will be used throughout the year. Payment plans will be offered to spread out the cost over time. No student will be turned away for financial reason! All efforts will be taken to keep the expense down. Item lists will be distributed after auditions at a team meeting.
