Picture books can be valuable tools for developing visual understanding at ALL levels. Consequently, secondary educators often use them to introduce sophisticated concepts that students will later analyze in longer texts in a way that is more easily accessible and promotes visual literacy. To that end, the library prides itself in a well curated picturebook collection to support the curriculum.
The library has an extensive collection of board games to support your curriculum. Check one out as a fun way to introduce, reinforce, or enrich the concepts you teach.
In addition to being your campus librarian, Sara Pavone is also a Certified Google For Education Trainer.
